Crappie help!!!
« on: May 31, 2017, 10:48:38 PM »

Hey guys, I am a tournament bass angler and want to branch off as I am getting burned out and want to chase some big slabs. I am new to crappie fishing (open water as I icefished them before). Any good lakes around Montcalm, Ionia, Ingram, Clinton area?

Morrison lake is probably the best I know of in Ionia County.  I catch them trolling twisters and little rooster tails all the time.  Just paddle or drift through the area where the lake narrows just east of the boat launch.
