river fishing, port huron
« on: March 05, 2017, 08:55:54 PM »

many fish from the wall in port huron and other cities where they have a seawall, or access along a river.
but i haven't seen anyone but me use an inline planer board.

i place a crawler harness or diving lure in the water and let it out as far as i think it should be, then attach a planer board to my line. the planer takes i out with the current , much like trolling takes it to the side of the boat. this allows me to carefully position my lure  at the distance from shore and depth  that i feel will put it in productive water. i can move it in and out from shore, adjust depth and hopefully find productive water.

my favorite is the off shore inline planer. but others would work well too.

Bro, you got to ask questions then.  Statements aren't gonna get you anywhere.  What do you want to know?
