For the first time in the 13 or so years I have lived here the grand is officially over the road between Lyons and muir. You cannot access town via m21 as the river is over the highway there too. May be a while before lines can be wet efficiently here.

spent the night in a rent able sleeper shanty that was very very nice if anyone wants to rent one id recommend this place the guy did everything he could to get us on the ice and happy. Had a few misses but landed a real nice 22'' walleye i dont know how to post pictures here but i sent one to neebo maybe he can add if on for me lol.

After getting one hit in 3 hours on White Lake here in Oakland County yesterday, I went back to my favorite for 45 minutes tonight for what I'm sure will be the final time this year. It was the most aggressive bite I've had there in quite awhile. My first three fish were smaller (a pumpkinseed and two bluegills), but my last two were decent bluegills. I fished w/two lines for a change, and after missing a bite on the left hole, I heard a noise to my right, which was my other rod sliding forward, half-bent over in the hole. I grabbed it in time and landed a nice fish.

Here's hoping the warm weather this week opens up the rivers for you guys. Might as well; ice season's over now.
