Hey Guitar Tab,

Good to hear from you! Was starting to wonder where you were. I love that Panther Martin pattern in the first smallmouth picture. What size? That's my absolute favorite spinner! Say, the seventh picture looks to me like a green sunfish. Do you concur? Kind of a rare catch. Beautiful bluegill!

I've been way to busy :( I haven't been mesuring any of the fish. The size 2 Panthers seem to be best. And green sunfish seems right to me...

I believe that is a green sunfish as well.

I've been Continuing to lay the smack down on the cedar. Almost all of my fish are coming on spinners. Here are some recent pictures.

May I ask the size and color of the spinners?

I finally got my new personal best  pike at 38 inches... Didn't realize at the time because I didn't have a tape mesure but it was from the butt to the first eyelet of my walleye rod... Wich is apparently 38 inches. Wish I would have got a better picture...

Congratulations on your personal best! I have Wednesday 8/23 off from work and hope to hit the Red Cedar. Questions: Do you have any interest/availability on fishing w/me that day? Does time of day matter on that river? BTW, when on vacation in the U.P. last week, I got spinners that were as close a match to what you're using as I could find.

Nice. I'm just now getting this message and my day is pretty full. Time of day shouldn't matter to much. I usually fish mid day most of the time.

Hey Guitar Tab,

I figured as much; thanks anyways. I just got home from there. I fished almost exclusively above Okemos. I landed 3 smallmouth and 3 snakes (dink pike). All on spinners. My first smallmouth was 13" (my biggest of the day) and hit the exact same spinner that you showed in a previous post. Of course, I snagged a log and lost it on the very next cast.  :'( Of course the water was low, but in the stretch where I got 5 of my fish, there were some nice holes. Definitely worth trying again. All other fish besides the first were taken on a gold #2 Panther Martin.

Nice! The big ones are in that but hard to find in summer.
